1. What time are check-in and check-out?

Guest can check-in at 2 PM and check-out at 12 PM.

 

2. Is the resort family friendly?

Asha committed to providing a welcoming, family-friendly environment, where family values are at the heart of everything we do. The resort designed as a place to share wonderful times with family, friends, and guests from around the world, creating an atmosphere that’s both casual and homely. Our beach club and resort are popular with a wide range of travelers, including solo adventurers, couples, families, and groups.

Our beachfront location is ideal for families, with children able to play on the beach, swim in the ocean, and enjoy a variety of water activities like kayaking, paddle boarding, and snorkeling. To make your stay more convenient, we offer amenities tailored for families, such as child seats, cribs, a kids’ menu, and two pools with shallow areas perfect for little ones!

Important Note:

While we are a family-friendly property, we also strive to provide a pleasant experience for all our guests. We kindly ask parents to ensure their children are respectful of others’ enjoyment. For plenty of excitement, we recommend kids enjoy the beach—nature’s biggest playground—where they can play freely!

Children should be supervised by an adult at all times, both for their safety and the enjoyment of other guests. Common sense and courtesy go a long way, and we’re happy to say we rarely encounter any issues.

 

3. What are the check-in procedures?

Upon arrival during at the island, proceed to the front desk for check-in where you will need to present your photo ID, booking confirmation, signing form registration and waiver. Since you will have arrived early at the island, you are welcome to visit our restaurants or start activities that available on the island and front desk will let you know when room is ready and you will be provided with your room keys. Additionally, this is when our staff will address any remaining balances on your account.

 

4. Is Asha kid-friendly?

Yes - we are a kid-friendly resort, constantly evolving to enhance the experience for all our guests. Our property is thoughtfully designed to include a variety of spaces, offering options for guests seeking both family-friendly areas and more peaceful spots away from children. For families, we offer cots/cribs for babies (limited availability), which can be arranged for your room. Please inquire at the time of booking to confirm availability and any associated cost. We also have high chairs available in the restaurants. 

Safety Guidelines for kid:

  • Our beach do not have safety fences.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Children may use the beach until 5.30:00 PM, under parental supervision.

5. What is your parking policy? 

Each room is eligible for one complimentary parking pass. Please inquire about parking passes when making your reservation.

 

6. Is Kayak/Canoe rental complimentary?

Yes - our on-site kayak/canoe are included packages. You can easily borrow it from the front desk after signing a waiver. Our high-quality kayak/canoe feature paddle, life jacket and life guard designs to ensure the best experience and safety for our guests.

 

7. Are there any restaurant near by?

Yes - Guests can enjoy our 2 restaurants at the island. Alfons restaurant open offering limited variety as a snacks and drinks. Open from 11 AM to 6 PM. Alla Mare restaurant is more bigger with a restaurant by the lagoon, have a DJ Set or Life Music, private room with air-conditioned, offering drinks, snacks, and coffees. Open from 7 AM to 10 PM.

 

8. What is the resort Cancellation Policy?

All booking is non-refundable. Once confirmed, no cancellations will be allowed. By proceeding with this transaction, you acknowledge and agree to this policy. 

 

9. How long is the boat ride to the island?

Depending on the tide and swell conditions, boat transfers between Jakarta mainland and Asha Beach Club & Resort take approximately 50 minutes. We can organize your transfers for you! Please let us know so we can help arrange this.

 

10. Are there vegetarian meal option?

Yes - we can accommodate any dietary restrictions you may have.

 

11. Asha is so remote! Is there internet available?

Yes - internet is available in all of our rooms, restaurants, and public areas.

 

12. Can I book for wedding or event?

Yes - if you are looking to have a function or wedding on the island we can assist. We have a range of spaces that can be reserved for events, private functions, parties and weddings for groups ranging from 30 people up to 100 people or more. Please see the /contact-us section of our website for more information.

 

13. What is the drone/camera policy?

For safety and privacy reasons, drones are not permitted within the venue. Guests who wish to fly drones may do so from the beach, provided they do not create excessive noise, interfere with other guests’ enjoyment, or disrupt the peaceful atmosphere. We ask all drone operators to be mindful of others and to comply with any relevant local regulations when using drones.

To respect the privacy and comfort of all guests, we ask that photographs and videos of others not be taken without their permission. Photography and filming in private or sensitive areas, including bathrooms and changing rooms, is strictly prohibited. Guests should always be considerate when using cameras or recording devices. This includes being mindful of the privacy and personal space of others and ensuring that photography or filming does not interfere with the experience of fellow guests. Management may request guests to stop filming or taking photographs if the activity is considered intrusive, disruptive, or inappropriate.

Guests who do not comply with these policies may be asked to stop filming or taking photographs. In certain cases, management reserves the right to request guests to leave the premises.

12. Can I book for Daytrips?

Yes - We have made some suggestions on things to do beside staying on the island. One of the most popular activities is a day trip to the beach club . Please speak with our Sales Team and we can help point you in the right direction and make tour arrangements for you.
